Keith Wilson

Keith Wilson is a producer, director, and artist based in Athens, Georgia. His films have screened at Sundance, the Berlinale, Hot Docs, the U.S. National Gallery of Art, documenta14, and the Museum of Modern Art. 

He is the producer of I Didn’t See You There (2022) by Reid Davenport, which won the Directing Award for U.S. Documentary at Sundance, the Grand Jury Prize at Full Frame, and a Film Independent Spirit Award. Additional producer credits include Joonam (2023) by Sierra Urich which premiered at Sundance, and Water Makes Us Wet (2018) by Annie Sprinkle and Beth Stephens, which premiered at documenta14. His directing credits include the live documentary performance Moore for Sale (2023), the 3D immersive documentary The Gangway (2019), and the short documentary Tree (2018).

His work has been supported by Just Films/Ford Foundation, the Sundance Institute, DeNovo Initiative, Doc Society New Perspectives Fund, Berkeley FILM Fund, SFFILM Rainin Grant to Filmmakers with Disabilities, Sundance Institute Documentary Film Producers Fellowship, Points North Institute , American Stories Documentary Fund & CNN Films, California Humanities Documentary Project, and the Bay Area Video Coalition.

Keith is an Assistant Professor at the University of Georgia and a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences.
